Cal Storm Girls is looking for motivated players ready to compete, develop, and take their game to the next level.
Our Fall/Winter tryout series gives players across Los Angeles County, Orange County, Ventura County, High Desert, The Valley (SFV/SCV), Northern California, Arizona, and Hawaii the opportunity to train with our coaches, compete alongside other motivated athletes, and be evaluated for the team and training environment that best fits their development.

Youth Tryouts Begin in September
Tryouts will be held at multiple locations throughout our various gyms beginning in September. Check the calendar for upcoming tryout dates and locations in your area.
Players will be evaluated throughout the tryout series to help determine the appropriate team and group placement for the upcoming season.

What to Expect

10U–14U | Youth Program
Our youth program is designed to build a strong foundation while challenging players to compete, develop confidence, and grow their game.
- Year-round player development
- Weekly team practices

- Game-like decision-making and competition
- Strength, speed, and agility opportunities
Team placement and practice schedules will be determined following the tryout process.
Tournament Season: April–July
15U–17U | High School Program
Our high school program is built for players who are ready to compete at a high level while preparing for the next stage of their basketball journey.
Cal Storm competes on the national stage through premier events and circuits, including the EYBL, EYCL, and TOC Nike Circuit. Players will have opportunities to develop their game, compete against strong competition, gain valuable exposure, and prepare for the college basketball recruiting process.

A Cal Storm tryout is your opportunity to experience the program before making your decision. Meet the coaches. Compete with other players. Get evaluated. Ask questions. See what Cal Storm is all about.
At the conclusion of all our tryouts, we will host a parent meeting to provide an overview of the upcoming season, including team structure, expectations, training, competition, and what families can expect moving forward.
Our coaching staff is always excited to meet new players who are looking for the right environment to grow.
